Global Knowledge is seeking an Account Executive Small Medium Businesses (SMB) who can proactively build up and own customer portfolio.
The SMB Account Executive is responsible for managing and expanding existing accounts and generating new accounts through a virtual sales motion,
Your customer base exists of customers up to 1.500 employees. You are result-oriented and you get satisfaction from achieving and exceeding targets. You may have the ambition to grow into a field sales position.
Position Responsibilities
Drive top-line revenue growth through new customer acquisition and expansion of our T&D solutions line footprint within a dedicated prospect list
Sell our vast T&D solutions line directly to SMB lT Departments.
Work as part of broader international SMB sales team
Own responsibility to meet and exceed revenue & sales goals
Wín by representing a solution line with key competitive differentiators
lnfluence customers and prospects at the lT and Development leadership level
Establish strategic plans and objectives to drive desired business growth
Partner with other AE’s, marketing and support resources in the successful advancement of critical opportunities and market penetration
Develop a thorough understanding of Skillsoft sales plays related to the Speed of Technology and Aspire.
DesÍred Skills & Experience
3+ years successful sales experience Ín lT sales in a new business/acquisition capacity
Successfully delivered against annual targets based on weekly and monthly objectives.
Experience selling directly into lT Departments is desired.
Experience in the learning or human capital, human capital technology space is preferred
Ability to exceed sales targets, a keen understanding of the steps involved ín a sales cycle and ability to leverage each stage to advance the sale.
Ability to prospect, penetrate, and manage a designated territory to maximize revenue growth
Speaking the language of lT and Developers
Ability to operate with a sense of urgency, be aggressive, competitive, and demonstrate a positive, winning attitude
Negotiate effectively based on value and time to close
Ability to understand client requirements and to clearly articulate the company’s offerings to develop solutions to meet those requirements
Required Attributes:
Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience within the lT or training industry preferred
College Degree or equivalent in education/experience
Business Development / Hunter role sales experience preferred
Ability to follow established processes and provide constructive feedback on processes
Exhibits strong prospecting skills, hunter mentality
Ability to cultivate prospects
Research skills
Easily handles objections and rejections
Process oriented
Strategy development and execution
Adaptability, being able to focus on what matters to the customer
