Vlietjonge Staalhandel is one of the largest steel suppliers in the Netherlands. With a wide and deep stock range, they supply structural steel to steel builders, construction companies, machine factories and trailer builders. As loader/unloader, you will be responsible for loading and dividing trucks with various steel products. These are large and heavy materials, so mainly you will use an overhead crane. These cranes have a span of 24 to 29 meters and can hoist lift up to 10 tons of material. You will work in an open warehouse with cranes and pipes, where it could be cold in wintertime and hot in summertime.
You will work from Monday to Friday in a night shift from 18:00 to 03:15. For every hour, you will get paid 117% of the base hourly wage. You have the possibility to work overtime, which means a higher salary.
The first weeks, you will be trained to use the crane until you will get enough experience. Afterwards, you will work independently. Get the opportunity to follow trainings for higher positions. Join this motivated team as loader/unloader!
