Inside Sales Account Manager

Global Knowledge is expanding its high velocity sales impact across SMB and dormant enterprise segments and is seeking a driven, customer-focused SMB & Nurture Account Executive to accelerate growth. This digital-led, high-volume sales role is responsible for managing a broad portfolio of small existing customers, inactive enterprise accounts, and low-complexity net-new opportunities. You will drive reactivation, retention, and pipeline creation while serving as the primary interface for ILT (Instructor-Led Training) solutions. This role requires strong organisation, responsiveness, and a disciplined outreach cadence to maximize engagement and revenue across your account base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Growth & Pipeline Development: Drive high-velocity revenue across SMB customers and dormant enterprise accounts through structured outreach, targeted nurture, and consistent inbound/outbound engagement. Meet and exceed pipeline and quota targets across net-new, reactivation, and upsell opportunities.
  • Customer Engagement & Retention: Execute a digital-first engagement model (email, phone, LinkedIn, automated plays) to quickly build rapport, understand customer needs, and recommend ILT training programs and learning pathways.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain exceptional accuracy with order processing, payments, and course registrations. Demonstrate ownership in managing enquiries, follow-ups, and cross-functional collaboration with T&D AEs, CSMs, Operations, and Finance.
  • Sales Motion Alignment: Operate within a short-cycle, high-velocity sales motion focused on reactivation, retention, and small-ticket net-new opportunities. Maintain disciplined cadence, strong responsiveness, and consistent pipeline activity.
  • Tools & Systems Utilization: Use CRM, Sales Intel, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Spend Reports, and automated Sales Plays to support forecasting, pipeline management, and activity accuracy.
  • Skills & Qualifications Required:

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in a high-volume, transactional, or SMB sales environment
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong organisational discipline and ability to manage large account volumes
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Ability to assess customer challenges and position ILT solutions effectively
  • Confidence engaging customers digitally and by phone
  • High responsiveness, ownership, and follow-through
  • Preferred Experience:

  • Background in IT training, SaaS, digital learning, or education solutions
  • Experience with inbound-led and reactivation focused sales motions
