About the Role
As Maintenance Engineer, you will work independently in a highly automated environment and support the team with your experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated industrial equipment.
- Carry out troubleshooting and fault diagnostics on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Execute breakdown maintenance and restore system functionality.
- Work with PLC-controlled systems and industrial control equipment, such as conveyors, robots, motors, depalletizers, and automated cranes.
- Analyze problems and help improve system performance.
- Take initiative and grow towards a coordinating or team lead role.
Qualifications and Required Skills
- MBO level 3 or 4 in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent of it.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience as a technician or maintenance engineer.
- Able to work independently as well as within the team.
- Problem-solving mindset and strong focus on safety.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Available for a 5-shift schedule.
- Driver’s license and own transport.
- Motivation to develop yourself into a leadership role.
What we Offer
- Salary: depending on experience and education, between €3,500 – €4,500 gross per month, including 34% shift allowance.
- 35 hours per week, working in a 5-shift schedule.
- Travel allowance up to 100 km per day.
- 26.25 vacation days + 8% holiday allowance.
- 1-year contract with prospect for a permanent contract.
