“As a Practice Lead, you will work with the leadership team of the area Software Development Microsoft & IBM, shaping and giving substance to the area.
You lead a team of Microsoft professionals by inspiring and facilitating them. This way you take responsibility and deliver value to clients and your practice of approximately 10-25 employees. You undertake and inspire from the content and thus build an economically healthy practice with your team. By developing solutions using Microsoft technology, you and the team ensure that we can help clients accelerate even better. Customer focus, enthusiasm, creativity and entrepreneurship are therefore crucial qualities.
As Practice Lead you are responsible for the growth and development of your practice and therefore for attracting both talented and experienced MCPs (Microsoft Certified Professionals) from the Microsoft Community. For them you are an inspiring conversation partner. You bring them further in their career and help them to become an improved version of themselves again and again.
As Practice lead you help to build a culture of collaboration with colleagues, customers and partners, inside and outside Ordina. This culture is in line with the ambition to work as a network organization and ecosystem, where experts work together to achieve the best solutions.
In your role you deliver added value by, for example, presales and quotation activities, by working with your colleagues to find the right solutions for customer problems, by shaping deals with customers or by delivery ownership of teams and/or projects. You are a key player in the entire customer journey, from the initial conversation, preparing the quotation to delivering the solution. ”
Where you're going to get started
Within the Area Software Development Microsoft & IBM, we help clients accelerate the development of solutions that run in the public or private cloud. We do this by leveraging our expertise and Ordina solutions based on Microsoft & IBM technology. The area consists of 4 practices, namely MTech: Microsoft Technology, Microsoft Teams & Power App Innovation, Microsoft Application Lifecycle Management, ZTech: IBM Cobol Technology. Within this area, approximately 170 professionals are working in a practice that is logical and appropriate for them.
In the MTech Practice, you will work with passionate, creative developers, and architects in the coolest Microsoft club in The Netherlands. The professionals in this practice fulfill the roles of Microsoft Software developers, Microsoft Software architects, Azure Cloud experts, XR (VR/AR) experts. Professionals with passion for the profession, each with his/her own area of expertise. A dynamic team where knowledge sharing and innovation are important focal points. Our professionals seek connection with each other within the communities and between the practices and thus with professionals from other areas. This ensures that the area always has the most up-to-date knowledge and experience, and it stimulates cooperation between different areas of expertise and thus the focus on developing solutions. Our Microsoft professionals are proud, involved, active at Trackmeetings, external conferences and Meet-ups, and are thus at the forefront of software development.
This is you
As Practice Lead, you have full oversight of your practice and a clear drive to work with your team to present the best solutions to our customers. You have a vision of the market and use this to generate business, create solutions, and shape (HP) Teams and projects. As Practice Lead, you lead professionals. You know how to engage these professionals and bring them into client assignments and teams. You create commitment and inspire your team to keep developing. You are able to take care of the well-being of your professionals and find a suitable assignment that matches their ambitions and development path. You have a vision on software development based on Microsoft technology, give direction, and follow the latest trends & developments from your passion for the profession; As a reliable partner for the customer, you build teams that can meet the expectations and create the environment needed for this; From entrepreneurship, you see opportunities and have the right skills to lead quotation processes. You take ownership to deliver with the team what is promised; You are a good discussion partner for customers at various levels, including management (IT manager/lead) and board level (CIO/CTO); You recognize the importance of a relevant network within the Microsoft community (as with Microsoft Netherlands) and are able to expand this network and thus further shape Ordina's partnership with Microsoft; As part of the leadership team of Software Development Microsoft & IBM, you contribute to the strategy and execution of building a portfolio of innovative solutions that help our customers accelerate; You are a good discussion partner for the professionals in your practice. Together, you follow the latest trends & developments and determine the course of the practice; You know how to find your way within an organization and look for interfaces with other practices/areas to come up with solutions together for our customers.
Sufficient knowledge of the Microsoft portfolio and development technology, including the Microsoft Cloud platform (Azure), to spar with customers and colleagues, to advise and to provide direction
A team player, focused on (internal and external) collaboration and professional growth
Leadership focused on inspiring, motivating, and engaging your team and your customers
A relevant network within the Microsoft community (Microsoft Netherlands and fellow Microsoft partners)
