Service & Repair Specialist (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

In the role of a Service & Support Engineer you are responsible for building up and manage a sustainable Technical Service Organization for the EMEA BU. Depending on the support model this requires managing external and internal Technicians as well as Spare Parts supply for Service Centers. The Service Manager provides training to internal and external Service Centers. In addition, the person is in close contact with Service Centers and Technical Service of QSC to provide feedback about trends and statistical data for all service related matters. The focus of your work is in the following areas:

  • Technical Support responsibilities, Customer Care, Communicate with Customers, Identify need for Hardware Service or other Support Requirements (Tier 1 Customer Support)
  • Organize Spare Parts availability process for Service Partners
  • Work closely with Service Departments of Distributors/IMP/IP
  • The Technical Service Employee communicates with users about the progress of repairs
  • Manage escalations
  • Collaborate with other departments like Customer Care, Sales, and Quality etc.
  • The Technical Service Employee reports to and collaborates with service and development departments in the U.S.A.
  • The Technical Service Employee works together with the Application department in Germany.
  • The Technical Service Employee generates and checks software licenses for the use of QSC equipment
  • Manage Warranty Claim Process
  • Repairing all common hardware at component and software level at the Technical Department in our office in Nieuwegein
  • The Technical Service Employee also manages the deliveries to various representations in Europe.
  • Your profile

  • Electronics training at MBO level
  • Driving License B
  • Preferably experience in a technical service/repair department
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills based on knowledge and interest in professional audio and audio
  • Knowledge of Dutch and English language, spoken and written. Knowledge of the German language is an advantage
  • Able to work in a team and independently.
  • Customer and service oriented, solution oriented, team player, commercial insight, great sense of responsibility, eager to learn.
  • Willing to travel at home and abroad (including Germany, Europe and USA)
  • Extensive knowledge of computer/computer networks.
